A curated look at the most interesting updates, price cuts, and new apps in the App Store—
Crashlands. It's just January and the internet has already found its Game of the Year. Super well executed crafter that sucks all the suck out of traditional crafters ($4.99).
Dungelot: Shattered Lands. Minesweeper meets roguelike in Red Winter's dungeon crawler, Dungelot: Shattered Lands. I might be having more fun here than Crashlands ($3.99).
Super Phantom Cat. Yes another game, and another good one — this time a platfomer from Veewo Games, called Super Phantom Cat. Sports tight controls, sweet visuals, Mario-like gameplay, and has been, thus far...pretty fun ($1.99).
Round. Sexy medication reminders are now a thing thanks to Circadian Design's Round (free).
Podcasts. No, not on iOS — on the new Apple TV — courtesy yesterday's tvOS 9.1.1 update. Includes audio and video podcast support, and carries over your subscribed podcasts from iOS (assuming you use the Podcast.app).
