Why Walmart says they want to opt of Apple Pay in favor of CurrentC, the payment system of choice for Mobile Customer Exchange (MCX) retailers (of which Walmart is a member):

you're only are relevant as a retailer or merchant if your customers love you

But one must also remember sometimes businesses can be real d**ks till they remember such adages.
