Follow up from yesterday's The Morning (+)Addition in where according to the IDC, Apple had made it into the top 5 global PC vendors. Later that day however, Gartner's top 5 list appeared with Asus bumping Apple out of the five, likely meaning there won't be an Apple issued high-fiving press release just yet.

Maximum Gold Achieved?

Apple released OS X Yosemite GM Candidate 3.0 yesterday to developers. Safe to assume they really want Yosemite available to the public at large the day of Apple's special event on October 16.
