Eli Hoddap sums up the just announced SteelSeries Stratus wireless iOS controller
In the end, even with the SteelSeries Stratus controller out there, reviewing iOS 7 controllers feels a lot like the classic Top Gear episode on the horrible “Communist Cars” that came out of Russia. When none of the options available to you are that great, it's very easy to stand out as the “best.” Link
Note that the Stratus, the Logitech Powershell, and the MOGA Ace Power all cost about a $100.00, none feature impressive builds, and they all work kind of just OK for most, but not all games. Compare this to say a new Xbox or Playstation controller, either of which works brilliantly while sporting tank-like construction.
I do my fair share of gaming on iOS, and every time a controller gets announced my curiosity gets piqued. GTA San Andreas, Oceanhorn, and Bit.Trip Run!, would all be a bit more fun to play with a controller, but a $100.00 controller that looks like something I could get off EBay for $10.00 just ain't gonna cut it.
